Our Electricians have remote working capability

As an established electrical contractor that deals in a high turnover  of reactive maintenance jobs we have long been aware that as our operatives work remotely from our office it is important that we have a system of work that allows remote access to our system. All of our operatives have remote working capability via ipads or computers, this means they are able to book time, complete certificates and order materials remotely on our system and this automatically updates the status of the job with in the office. This has revolutionised the way we work, cutting costs and allowing us to pass these onto our customers.

We have eliminated paperwork

As electrical engineers and contractors we have found that a lot of time was being spent delivering paperwork to the office and inputting this onto a computer in the office. Our electricians now input all their information regarding time description of works carried out and order materials remotely on site. This has saved a tremendous amount of time that used to be wasted inside and outside the office. This has allowed us to work much more effectively and more cost effectively.



Certificate automatically generated for every job

Part of the shutdown procedure for all our jobs is the production of a certificate to email to the person responsible within the organisations the work undertaken for them.
This allows our customers to retain a full and comprehensive history of all works undertaken by our operatives. This certificate is automatically attached as part of the job and the job is not closed until our operatives have completed this part of the shutdown procedure.

 

 

 

Real time status of a job

As time and materials are booked in real time we are able to provide accurate and up to date progress and status of a job. This also allows us to keep control of our costs and provide up to date costs of a job for our customers so they are able to make financial decisions.
